Technical Operations Manager

Job Description:
Manager of day-to-day operations of the Technical division. Implement effective operational processes and project management methodology; Handle logistics and scheduling; Manage and supervise team personnel; Client account and relationship management; Add value to the business by ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget

Duties:

  • Client relations and account management
  • Manage client – technical consultant relations
  • Develop project scope and schedules in accordance with client requirements
  • Assist with compiling quotes
  • Direct and manage project execution and documentation
  • Report on project progress, activities and statistics to all applicable parties
  • Control and manage internal and external project resources
  • Ensure successful delivery and closure of project and assist with final invoices
  • Manage and develop all team personnel

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background (Linux) and Operational and Management skill set
  • Goal oriented
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
  • Strong leader
  • Good planning, organisational, and time management skills
  • Good financial acumen

Reports to:
Managing Director

Salary:
Negotiable based on experience and skills

Years of experience:
Minimum of 3 – 5 years
